The first batch of students on Liechtenstein’s new Blockchain and FinTech course have now graduated. The course is part of a cooperation between the University of Liechtenstein and Bank Frick.

The first 18 students on the new Blockchain and FinTech course at the University of Liechtenstein have received their certificates. In a statement, course director Ass.-Prof. Dr. Martin Angerer highlighted that with its financial focus, the course run by the Institute for Finance is “the only one of its kind in the German-speaking world”. He added that Liechtenstein was playing a pioneering role and “giving our graduates excellent opportunities for the future”.
The statement went on to underline the importance of the FinTech course for Liechtenstein. The education of experts in this field is a decisive factor in the success of the domestic financial center, it writes.
“Substantial funds” from Bank Frick are supporting this education as part of a five-year partnership with the university. “I am sure that this cooperation in Liechtenstein’s FinTech sector will help bring even greater success,” commented Bank Frick CEO Edi Wögerer.
