Amnis Treasury Services has raised 8.6 million Swiss francs in a financing round. The Zurich fintech impressed investors with its international payment platform. It has now set its sights on expansion in Europe, having recently opened offices in Prague, Vaduz and Vienna.

Amnis Treasury Services AG  from Zurich has raised 8.6 million francs in a Series A financing round. The round was led by UK investment firm Lansdowne Partners, as was reported in a press release. Other investors included Spicehaus Partners AG from Zug.

A solution for improving transparency in international banking has been developed by amnis. The platform focuses on the requirements of SMEs. Alongside money transfers abroad, it also enables customers to exchange currency and make real-time transfers around the clock within their own network.

This investment will enable amnis to improve its product and boost international growth in Europe. As part of the company’s first phase of expansion in Central and Eastern Europe, business activities have already been rolled out in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy. Over the past 12 months, the company has opened three additional offices in Vaduz, Vienna and Prague and tripled the size of its team.

According to Michael Wüst, Co-founder and CEO, the funding round gives amnis the confidence to successfully replicate its business model in other markets as well.
