Bank Alpinum expanding in Eastern Europe
Bank Alpinum is gaining two experienced client advisers from LGT in Vienna and the Rietumu Bank in Riga. As a result, the Vaduz bank hopes to strengthen its business with high and ultra-high net worth individual clients in Eastern Europe.
Alexander Leschenko (46) is leaving LGT Bank Österreich in Vienna to join Bank Alpinum. Over the past two decades, he has supported high and ultra-high net worth individual clients in Eastern Europe in roles at various different banks. He previously worked at Hypo Landesbank Vorarlberg and UBS Wealth Management Austria.
Arthur Venskevics (31) has spent the last seven years at the Rietumu Bank in Riga, where he was Head of Sales Management, among other roles.
With these two new appointments, Bank Alpinum plans to further expand its capacities in Eastern Europe. “Both our new colleagues possess many years of experience and an extensive network,” said Martin Wachter, Head Private Banking, in a press release from the bank. “Their language skills and local knowledge of the markets will help us to achieve rapid growth there.”
