Dr Risch opens laboratory in western Switzerland
The Labormedizinische Zentrum Dr Risch has opened a new laboratory in Crissier in the canton of Vaud to better serve customers in western Switzerland.
The Labormedizinische Zentrum (LMZ) Dr Risch has opened a new 900-square-metre laboratory in Crissier, announced a statement. Its foundation was the acquisition in the summer of Dr Edgar Boillat Laboratoire d’analyses médicales SA, with the majority of employees in the new laboratory made up of those from the acquired company.
With the new laboratory, the LMZ Dr Risch Group will be able to better serve its customers in western Switzerland. “We already have a large customer base in western Switzerland who have until now been looked after by our laboratory in Bern/Liebefeld,” said Martin Risch, CEO of the LMZ Dr Risch Group.
The laboratory in western Switzerland offers a comprehensive analysis portfolio, according to the statement. As well as core analyses in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology and specialist analytics, it covers specialized areas such as functional biology.
The LMZ Dr Risch Group has laboratories across Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It was founded in 1970 in Liechtenstein.
