Energy providers join forces to innovate
Six energy companies from Switzerland and Liechtenstein are founding EVUlution AG. The aim of the new company is to develop innovative products for energy providers.
Repower AG, Kantonale Elektrizitätswerk Nidwalden, SN Energie AG, Arbon Energie AG, Elektrizitätswerk Jona-Rapperswil AG and Liechtensteinische Kraftwerke are joining forces to found a company. The energy companies want to pool their expertise and develop innovative products and services, according to a statement.
With the partner companies’ existing developments, the new company already has a wide product portfolio. It includes a software solution for plant management, a smart system for smart metering and an innovative customer portal.
Repower AG owns the largest share in EVUlutionAG with 46.26 per cent. The other partners each hold between 6.5 per cent and 15 per cent.
“As an energy provider we want to tackle the digital challenges of the energy revolution together,” commented Roland Leuenberger, CEO of RepowerAG and President of the Board of EVUlutionAG.
