The sixth edition of Finance Forum Liechtenstein will take place on March 11, 2020. The top-class speakers on the billing for the event include Joschka Fischer, the former Foreign Minister and Vice-Chancellor of Germany. He will be addressing the issue of current global geopolitical challenges in a speech.

The sixth edition of the central dialog and image platform for the financial industry will be held under the motto “The Future of Finance”, as outlined by Finance Forum Liechtenstein in announcing the event. The sixth Finance Forum Liechtenstein will be held on March 11, 2020 at 13.30 at Vaduz Town Hall in Vaduz. As was the case on previous occasions, the event organizers again expect “around 600 high-level decision-makers from the financial sector across the whole of the German-speaking world” to attend the Forum.
The organizers have again this year been able to secure the services of top-class speakers for the event. The opening speech will be given by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Liechtenstein, Adrian Hasler, as has been traditional at previous editions. Additional speakers include Romeo Lacher, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Julius Bär, COO of UBS, Sabine Keller-Busse and the management coach Wolfgang Jenewein.
Joschka Fischer is set to make an appearance at Finance Forum Liechtenstein as a replacement for the previously announced Sigmar Gabriel, another former Vice-Chancellor of Germany. Fischer, himself a former Vice-Chancellor and Foreign Minister in the first German coalition government between the Social Democratic Party and the Greens, now acts as a corporate consultant and is regarded as “one of the most experienced and sharp-tongued speakers in Germany”, the event organizers state in a press release. In his speech, Fischer will be discussing current global geopolitical challenges.
