Finance Forum Liechtenstein looks to the future
The Finance Forum Liechtenstein will take place in Vaduz on September 9. Prominent speakers from the worlds of politics and business will look to the future of the finance sector. Liechtenstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Risch will open the event.
The seventh edition of the Finance Forum Liechtenstein will take place in Vaduz on September 9. It is dedicated to the subject of the future of finance. Top-class speakers will discuss the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the financial world as well as debating political, technological, and regulatory frameworks for financial service providers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
According to a press release, the event will be opened by Liechtenstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Risch. Among others, the program includes presentations by futurologist Max Thinius as well as Thomas Gottstein, CEO of the major Zurich bank Credit Suisse. Both will speak about opportunities and challenges in the industry. Other speakers will address the subjects of innovation and sustainability, such as: Evelyne Pflugi, Co-Founder and CEO of the Singularity Group; Thomas Wüst, CEO of ti&m; Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, a pioneer in the area of impact investing; and the former German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Philipp Rösler.
The Finance Forum Liechtenstein is supported by the government of Liechtenstein, along with several of the country’s finance associations and partners from the private sector. According to the press release, the event is the “best-known dialog and image platform for the financial sector.”
