The first 18 participants in the blockchain and fintech certification course run by the University of Liechtenstein have passed successfully. In order to underline the importance of training such as this, the certificates are to be handed out in person by Adrian Hasler, the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein.

The blockchain and fintech certification course is part of a collaboration between the University of Liechtenstein and Bank Frick, as detailed by the University in a press release. The Institute for Finance at the University of Liechtenstein provides the course participants with “the most up-to-date knowledge and skills to cope with disruptive but at the same time potentially highly promising technologies in the financial industry”, the press release explains.

This year, the first 18 participants have successfully passed the course. They will receive their certificates during a ceremony at the University of Liechtenstein on August 21, 2019, presented in person by the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein, Adrian Hasler. In the press release, the University explains how the aim here is to underline the importance of training blockchain and fintech specialists for the location of Liechtenstein. CEO of Bank Frick, Edi Wögerer, will also be awarding a prize to the most successful participant during the event.
