Hilcona has been able to steadily increase the organic share within its pasta products in recent years. Currently, organic pasta makes up a share of 30 percent. Organic is a key market for the food manufacturer from Schaan.

The organic pasta range offered by Hilcona has been becoming ever more popular. According to a press release, the food manufacturer from Schaan has steadily increased the share of organic products within its total pasta sales over the past few years. At present, Hilcona reports that 30 percent of pasta product sales are attributable to organic pasta.

“Hilcona customers value the strict organic guidelines,” said Robert Finsterer, Head of Hilcona Competence Center Pasta, in the press release. “Organic is therefore not simply a trend for us, but an existing market.”

Hilcona started producing pasta 80 years ago, as the press release explains. From just a few kilograms initially, up to 120 tons of dried and fresh pasta products are now made a day. According to information from the company, its pasta products are made using high-quality ingredients and an “ultramodern” production line in the parent factory at Schaan and in the factory at Landquart in the canton of Graubünden.
