Hilti has been named as one of the best workplaces in the world for the sixth time. It achieved a final ranking of eighth place among the 100 top employers in 2022 as part of a survey of employees and company management. Employee perspectives carry greater weight than those of the respective employer in the final evaluation.

For the sixth time in the past 11 years, Hilti has been named as one of the best employers by Great Place to Work. The international research and consulting institute awards the rankings based on a confidential survey of employees and employers. In the final evaluation, employee views account for two-thirds of the score and are therefore weighted more heavily than perspectives offered by company management.

The employees evaluate the quality of the workplace as part of an anonymous survey, which is included in the evaluation in the form of a Trust Index. The employer side is subjected to a Culture Audit in which several aspects of the corporate culture, including HR processes and measures, are determined.

In order to gain recognition as one of the best workplaces, organizations must achieve a Trust Index of at least 70 percent and satisfy all criteria in relation to employee orientation defined by the Culture Audit.

The appeal as a top employer is based on the company’s “caring and performance-oriented culture”, comments Matthias Gillner, Member of the Executive Board at Hilti, in the press release. In addition to economic factors, Hilti attaches great importance to the engagement and well-being of its employees. Direct customer relationships and innovation are the focus of entrepreneurial activities. In this way, Gillner adds, “our team members are the key to this success”.

Great Place to Work certifies companies in 90 countries around the world for their engagement.
