Hilti, a company based in Liechtenstein, took eleventh place among the world’s best employers for 2021. This is the fifth time in ten years that Great Place to Work, a research and consultancy institute for workplace culture, has named Hilti on its list of the World's Best Workplaces.

The construction technology company Hilti has placed eleventh in the latest World's Best Workplaces ranking by Great Place to Work. This is the fifth time in ten years that the industry leader for staff surveys has included Hilti as one of the 25 best workplaces in the world.

Great Place to Work surveyed over 100 million employees in 90 countries. According to a press release, Hilti Group’s current global accolade reflects top ratings in twelve national Best Workplace lists for 2020 and 2021: Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden and the United States of America. The company received more points than are necessary to be classed as one of the World's Best Workplaces in seven countries.

According to a quote from Member of Hilti’s Executive Board Matthias Gillner in the press release, the acid test for corporate culture is “when things get difficult, which is exactly what has happened since early 2020. This global crisis has proven that, at Hilti, we truly care for our people and all other stakeholders.” As proof of this, Hilti has introduced pandemic-related measures to focus on the health and safety of customers and the team as well as its social support fund.

Sabine Krauss, Head of Global Human Resources, explains: “Coming together as a team for direct and compassionate support of colleagues in need around the world shows the wonderful community spirit we have at Hilti.” She goes on to add: “2020/2021 has been anything but conventional, which is why upholding, together, this great workplace is even more outstanding.”
