A total of 20 Idea Teams presented their concepts at the Altes Kino in Vaduz this year. Overall, 12 of these are being supported within the framework of the Ideenkanal initiative. At the end of the process, three teams will be chosen to receive prize money.

At the end of October, a total of 20 Idea Teams took part at the Pitch Night hosted by the Ideenkanal project at the Altes Kino in Vaduz. The teams were nominated by the public and were each granted a minute for the presentation at the event. The projects were divided into three separate categories: “Good Nutrition and Food Waste in the Rhine Valley”, “Third Spaces in Vorarlberg” and “Carte Blanche”.

As part of a vote, twelve teams were then selected to receive funding. In the “Good Nutrition & Food Waste in the Rhine Valley” category, one selected project deals with the recovery of energy and fertilizer from waste. An example from the “Third Spaces in Vorarlberg” category is a project that focuses on local recreation and culture along the Inner Canal. In the “Carte Blanche” category, one of the winning projects concerns textile diapers made in Liechtenstein.

The selected teams will now be supported as part of an online associate camp. At the end of this, three projects will then be chosen to each receive prize money of 2,000 euros.

The Ideenkanal project is organized by the Ideenkanal Foundation. The current event is the twelfth round of the competition.
