The 15th edition of the Entrepreneur Day will be held on May 5. Growth will be the focus of economics philosopher Anders Indset and economist Mathias Binswanger, while the role of innovation will be spotlighted by Entrepreneur of the Year 2019, Alexander Ospelt.

The 15th Entrepreneur Day will consider whether endless economic growth is the only route to securing prosperity in Liechtenstein and Eastern Switzerland, informed the Verein Unternehmertag and the events agency Skunk AG in a statement. Held on May 5 in Vaduz’s Spoerry Halle, the event and its hosts are promising intriguing talks, informative seminars and appealing networking opportunities.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economics Daniel Risch will open the event with the theory that quality-focused growth is essential to secure Liechtenstein’s competitiveness. Economist Mathias Binswanger will then discuss why the economy is reliant on growth and, together with Risch and Director of the University of Liechtenstein, Ulrike Baumöl, what the pros and cons of unabated growth are.
Innovation and growth from an entrepreneurial point of view will be considered by Diego Gabathuler, CEO of Ivoclar Vivadent, Günther Schuh, founder of e.Go Mobile, and Alexander Ospelt, President of the Board of Ospelt Group. To close the event, the Norwegian economics philosopher Anders Indset will showcase his model of a new so-called operating system for capitalism.
During the event, participants can also participate in a range of seminars to gain "deeper insight into issues such as business evaluation, market position, online marketing, successorship in family companies, promotion of innovation and the internationalization of fintech solutions”, according to the statement.
