The Investor Summit Liechtenstein will be taking place for the eighth time on 31 October, connecting startups and investors in Schaan. Startups will be given the chance to present their business ideas to private and institutional investors. Talks will also be given by entrepreneurs and investors.

On 31 October, the country’s startups will be coming together at the eighth Investor Summit Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein National Administration reported in a press release. The meeting in the Saal am Lindenplatz in Schaan will give select “startups and SMEs looking to secure capital” the chance to present “their business model to investors and decision-makers”. The program also includes talks, discussions, seminars and “great networking opportunities”.

Over the past few months, more than 50 startups had applied to present at the Summit. From these, an independent jury selected the best eight, namely Cryptoz Liechtenstein, eMonitor, Exploris Health, Fision Technologies, One PM, ScorePad, Solovivo and Swissprime Technologies.

The organizers have succeeded in attracting founder of Moneypark and Business Angel Stefan Heitmann and the SECA Business Angel of the Year 2018 Nicolas Bürer as speakers. Talks will also be given by Liechtenstein’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Daniel Risch, and Deputy Managing Director of the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation, Simon Enderli. The summit will be moderated by entrepreneur and moderator Sunnie Groeneveld.

“As a business location, Liechtenstein offers excellent general conditions for companies, also and especially for high-growth SMEs and innovative startups,” commented Daniel Risch. “Connecting the different players so they can benefit from each other is of central importance for us as a business location.”
