Ivoclar reorganizes corporate management team
The dental and medical technology company Ivoclar has appointed Mirco Stiehle as CCO for growth markets within its corporate management team with effect from the start of 2024. His co-CCO Christian Brutzer will be responsible for established markets. In the Finance Division, Michael Bickel is set to succeed Franz Berger.
The Liechtenstein dental and medical technology company Ivoclar Vivadent, which is headquartered in Schaan, is strengthening its corporate management team. According to a press release, this move will impact the company’s sales and finance divisions. “Going forward, we will divide our Sales Division into ’Mature Markets’ and ‘High Growth Markets’ to foster closer integration among the sales areas and support them more effectively”, comments Markus Heinz, CEO of the Ivoclar Group since March 2023, in the press release.
Mirco Stiehle has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer High Growth Markets, a role which he will occupy from the turn of the year. Up to now, he has been in charge of the company’s Latin America division. In addition, he will now head up the sales organizations in Asia and the Pacific region. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer Mature Markets, Christian Brutzer will focus, among other aspects, on the sales regions of North America, Europe and the Middle East.
In the Finance Division, Michael Bickel will succeed Franz Berger as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This change will take effect as of December 1, 2023. Berger is leaving the Ivoclar Group after twelve years as CFO at the end of June 2024. In August 2023, the dental company expanded its management team with the addition of Alexandra H. Machnik in the role of Chief Digital Officer.
Founded in Zurich in 1923 under the name Ramsperger und Co., according to information from the company itself Ivoclar now employs 3,700 staff in 130 different countries worldwide. Ivoclar has 56 subsidiaries, branch offices and production facilities. In 2022, the company turned over 872 million Swiss francs.
