Ivoclar Vivadent will host the 8th Knowledge Exchange of the Energy Network for the Economy in Liechtenstein in May. During the event, the dental company is set to present its new energy center.

The Energy Network for the Economy provides a platform for an exchange of knowledge around the issue of energy efficiency. The platform is supported by the LIFE Climate Foundation, Liechtensteinische Kraftwerke (LKW; Liechtenstein power stations), Liechtensteinische Gasversorgung (LGV; Liechtenstein gas supply), Liechtenstein Initiative Energy Package, Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Liechtenstein Economic Chambers, Energy Agency of the Swiss Private Sector and Ivoclar Vivadent. The dental company is also host of the 8th knowledge exchange, which will take place in Schaan on May 7, 2019, as reported in a press release.

At the end of the knowledge exchange, the participants will have the chance to visit Ivoclar Vivadent’s new energy center. This was out into operation last year and offers the possibility of compressed air generation, cold supply, heating and emergency power generators. The energy center secures the power supply to Ivoclar Vivadent’s premises. Moreover, the press release explains how the energy efficiency potential has been exploited in full by bundling supply. The government in Liechtenstein supported Ivoclar Vivadent in its efforts to replace its old facilities.

Prior to this, the energy center is also one of the issues up for discussion at the knowledge exchange. Furthermore, Heike Summer from the LIFE Climate Foundation will shed some light on the Swiss Climate Foundation’s funding possibilities. The event will be rounded off by a tour of the heating station of LGV as well as the visit to the energy center.
