The consulting institute Great Place to Work has awarded Ivoclar Vivadent the Great Start label. It recognizes the Schaan dental company’s excellent vocational training.

Ivoclar Vivadent is the first company this year in Liechtenstein and Switzerland to be certified with the Great Start label. It impressed Great Place to Work with its high standard of vocational training, according to a statement. The dental company has already won several awards for education, including two years ago the title “Best Workplaces for Apprentices in Switzerland” and the special award Nachwuchsförderung 2018 for the support it gives to apprentices.
“We place great value on well-founded training for our apprentices and on supporting their unique talents,” said Aleksandar Toth, head of apprenticeships at Ivoclar Vivadent. The company does not only invest in training young people, but also in the further education of the staff who train them. Currently, 27 teachers are training 25 apprentices in six different areas at the company.
Following their apprenticeships, 75 per cent of the apprentices continue working at Ivoclar Vivadent long-term. At the headquarters in Schaan, 10 per cent of the employees are former apprentices.
