Timon Frey, an apprentice at Ivoclar Vivadent, took first place in the professional category of IT Network Systems Administration at the SwissSkills vocational skills championship. Four other apprentices from the dental company were also recognized for their achievements in September.

Each year at the SwissSkills Championship, hundreds of apprentices from Liechtenstein and Switzerland battle it out for the title of Swiss Champion in one of 60 vocational training courses. This year, an apprentice from Ivoclar Vivadent, namely Timon Frey, emerged victorious in the category of IT Network Systems Administration, as detailed in a press release issued by the dental company located in Schaan, Liechtenstein. Frey beat off a total of 21 competitors to claim this title.
In the press release, Frey explains that the whole IT team have supported him during his preparations over the past few months, with the company’s WorldSkills expert, Stefan Wachter, taking the time to prepare him specifically for the competition as well. Frey expressed his thanks for the vocational training organization supporting him in this way and dedicating the required time to him.
Aleksandar Toth, Head of Vocational Training at Ivoclar Vivadent, explained how his firm place huge value on ensuring that their apprentices receive excellent fundamental training. The gold medal at the SwissSkills vocational skills championship is just one of a whole series of successes recorded by Ivoclar Vivadent this year, the press release states further.
In specific terms, among other things Ivoclar Vivadent was awarded the Great Start label, underlining its status as a company offering exceptional training. Moreover, four of the dental company's seven apprenticeship graduates were permitted to enter their names in the Golden Book at Vaduz Castle in September, writes Ivoclar Vivadent.
