LGT named best private bank for alternative investments
LGT has again been designated Best Private Bank for Alternatives by the Global Private Banking awards, held by the Financial Times’ publications Professional Wealth Management and The Banker.
LGT was named Best Private Bank at the Global Private Banking awards, impressing the 15-member jury for a second consecutive year.
“This category was hotly contested,” jury member Yuri Bender said in a press release. “But many of the providers have dipped in and out of alternatives according to prevailing fashion. With its long-term commitment and broad expertise in alternative investments, LGT therefore clearly stood out among the other contenders.”
LGT has been investing in alternative investments for over 20 years and today has extensive experience in this field, giving it access to attractive transactions.
According to Thomas Piske, CEO LGT Private Banking, clients are more and more interested in finding ways to reduce risk and tap into new sources of revenue. “Alternative investments such as private equity, private debt and hedge funds offer exactly that possibility, which is why both institutional and private clients are increasingly investing in the segment”.
The world’s best private banks were recognized at the Global Private Banking Awards, which are put on by the Financial Times’ publications Professional Wealth Management and The Banker.
