The Liechtenstein Institute for Strategic Development AG has won a tender for a sustainability study in the Lake Constance region together with Germany's B.A.U.M.-Gruppe GmbH. This study will be presented at the third Sustainability Conference in Constance.

The Liechtenstein Institute for Strategic Development AG (LISD) was successful in winning the tender for the study entitled “Borderless sustainability”. Its objective is to examine how the United Nations’ global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are being implemented in the Lake Constance region. A study to this end was launched by Engagement Global – Service for Development Initiatives, which is commissioned by Germany’s Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and awarded to LISD in Vaduz and the B.A.U.M. corporate and information network for sustainable business with headquarters in Bonn. 
The study aims to demonstrate how much importance the municipalities, districts, federal states, cantons and other institutions in Austria, Germany and Switzerland attribute to these SDGs and their general progress. Nine key and particularly active regional authorities have been selected for interviews and documentation. The study is currently being compiled and will be presented at the third Sustainability Conference in Constance at the Bodenseeforum on 22 September.
This will be third time that Engagement Global’s Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW) invites the municipalities to this international conference. It will focus on that which has already been achieved and what can be learned by looking beyond and across borders.
