Liechtenstein employers were awarded above-average scores across all categories of recruiting. According to the Best Recruiters Study 2021/22, they improved their overall score from 58 to 62 percent of the potential points on offer. However, information on hybrid working patterns was deemed to be lacking.

Liechtenstein employers have achieved above-average results in the Best Recruiters Study 2021/22 from the Vienna-based career Institut & Verlag GmbH. The 447 largest companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein as measured by sales and number of employees scored an average of 50 percent of the possible points. In contrast, Liechtenstein employers alone achieved a score of 62 percent, having last year scored just 58 percent.

According to a press release, the ten companies examined in the Principality of Liechtenstein achieve an above-average performance across all categories compared with the sample for Switzerland and Liechtenstein as a whole. They stand out particularly in the categories of mobile recruiting and usability in the application process, with 78 percent of the points on offer in each case. Only in the category of contact by e-mail did the companies score 20 percent of the maximum points, which is the same as the overall average. According to the press release, a total of 225 scientifically based criteria are applied for the evaluation.

The three best companies in Liechtenstein occupy top spots in the rankings of 447 employers. Ranked in 5th place, thyssenkrupp Presta AG performed best, with Hilti as the second-best Liechtenstein firm in 43rd position. Next comes Hilcona in 48th place overall.

The study criticizes the fact that only three out of the ten employers surveyed offer information on hybrid working patterns on the careers page of their website. The cultural change in this regard has certainly taken place, but is barely being communicated outwardly. In addition, the matter-of-fact job descriptions “often inspire little in the way of passion for the work”.
