The Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG (LLB) has successfully passed an assessment carried out by Health Promotion Switzerland. On Tuesday it became the first financial institution and second company in Liechtenstein to be officially allowed to call itself a “Friendly Work Space”.

The Liechtensteinische Landesbank AG is a Friendly Work Space. According to a press release issued by the bank, it received this award following an assessment carried out by Health Promotion Switzerland. The private-law foundation, which is supported by cantons and insurers, has a government mandate to initiate, coordinate and evaluate measures aimed at promoting health. Its Friendly Work Space Label recognises the LLB’s exemplary occupational health management (OHM).
According to the LLB, it is the first financial services company in Liechtenstein and the second overall in the country to receive this award. Group CEO Roland Matt said: “Professional occupational health management is key to respectful treatment of employees and reflects our corporate culture, our guiding principles, and our values. We put OHM into authentic practice at all levels.”
In its report on the results, Health Promotion Switzerland states that the LLB's occupational health management is “characterised by a straightforward, needs-oriented approach. It is vibrant, integrated, and has its finger on the pulse of the needs of its employees and the company." It also praises the bank’s recruitment processes, targeted employee-focused development, and the wide range of training opportunities available.
