LMZ Dr Risch expanding into Western Switzerland
The Medical Laboratory Center Dr Risch is expanding its activities to the market of Western Switzerland. To this end, the corporate group is acquiring a laboratory center in Lausanne. In autumn, a laboratory will also be opening in the region.
The LMZ Dr Risch Group reported in a press release that the Medical Laboratory Center Dr Risch has until now predominantly been working for a number of customers in Liechtenstein, German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. However, it has already served a number of customers in Western Switzerland. In future, customers will benefit from the Group’s expansion in Western Switzerland. To this end, the corporate group recently acquired Dr Edgar Boillat Laboratoire d’analyses médicales SA in Lausanne. In addition, a new laboratory will be opened in Crissier VD as soon as autumn this year.
The LMZ Dr Risch Group will be launching a campaign to recruit specialists for the new laboratory of about 900m2. Dr Risch outlines in the press release that the new jobs will supplement the 20 employees from the takeover of the Dr Edgar Boillat Laboratoire d’analyses médicales SA.
With these new facilities in Western Switzerland, the LMZ Dr Risch Group will “offer services to doctors and hospitals on Lake Geneva that are of an even higher quality, because the required services are derived directly in the region,” commented Chairman of the Board, Lorenz Risch. The new clm Dr Risch arc lémanique SA will be integrated into the structure of the LMZ Dr Risch Group as a separate legal entity.
