At the fifth Finance Forum Liechtenstein, PrismaLife introduced its new sustainability concept. The international life insurance company from Rugell has fully restructured its cover pool to take sustainability aspects into consideration.

“By the end of 2018, we had restructured around 95 percent of our assets,” said PrismaLife CEO Holger Beitz in a press release. The Liechtenstein life insurance group has therefore achieved an above-average rate in taking account of environmental, social and corporate management aspects, Holger Beitz added. This applies in relation to both the equities and the fixed income securities of PrismaLife.

The international life insurer based in Rugell also offers sustainable funds to its customers with unit-linked pension policies. According to Holger Beitz, this means anyone can “do their bit for the environment and society”. Employees and the management are also dedicated to this issue through the use of environmentally-friendly cleaning products and reduced paper consumption, for example.

PrismaLife also reports that Liechtenstein Prime Minister Adrian Hasler viewed the topic of sustainability as an opportunity for Liechtenstein as a financial center at the Finance Forum Liechtenstein. “The trend towards meaningful investment looks set to continue,” Adrian Hasler said in his opening address at the Finance Forum Liechtenstein. “This will become a location advantage in future.” PrismaLife has reportedly been taking part in this annual central event platform for the finance sector in Liechtenstein and Switzerland for many years.
