After 16 years at the helm of Ivoclar Vivadent, Robert Ganley is handing over the reins of the Liechtenstein dental company to Diego Gabathuler this summer. Robert Ganley takes stock in an interview: Ivoclar Vivadent has in many ways revolutionized the world of dentistry.

Ivoclar Vivadent is “one of the leading innovators in the development and sale of dental products”, Robert Ganley explained in an interview for dental publication “reflect” published for the IDS dental business summit. He went on to say that the Liechtenstein dental company has triggered an “aesthetic revolution” by making the “final aesthetic result the primary treatment objective”. The CEO of Ivoclar Vivadent reveals that the secret to success has been to always consider and listen to the customer. This has allowed Ivoclar Vivadent to become a leader “in the development of innovative, high-quality products for cosmetic dentistry”.

The dental company from Schaan is showcasing a number of these innovative products at the IDS 2019 in Cologne. In the interview, Robert Ganley highlights the composite restoration system 3s PowerCure, the LED polymerization light Bluephase G4, the all-ceramic zirconium oxide IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime and the 3D printing system for use in dental technology ProgaPrint.

This summer, the long-standing CEO of the Group and Managing Director of branches in the USA will hand over the reins to Diego Gabathuler from Switzerland. However, Robert Ganley says he will remain at Ivoclar Vivadent as a member of the Supervisory Board “as well as being involved in other capacities” when he steps down as CEO.
