Two new hotels set to open in Schaan
b_smart is opening two new hotel businesses in Schaan in first half of 2023. A total of 15 rooms will be on offer at Ampera House. The hotel company will also be taking over 23 rooms at the St. Elisabeth Convent that have previously been rented out by the sisters there.
The hotel company b_smart will be opening two new hotels in Schaan next year. The hotel operator based in Gamprin-Bendern will be offering 15 new rooms located on the top floor of Ampera House, a new office and commercial complex. A further 23 rooms at the St. Elisabeth Convent will also be taken over from the sisters there, a press release explains.
The guest rooms in the convent were previously run by the sisters themselves. In order to concentrate on their core tasks, however, they have now agreed to cede control over rental activities. From 2023 they will be managed under the brand "Kloster by b_smart". Prior to this, the 23 rooms in the south wing of the building will be “completely renovated”. Owing to an exceptionally attractive location, the rooms will “also be geared towards tourists” visiting the region, according to the press release.
The 15 rooms in Ampera House, which is currently still under construction, will be aimed at business travelers. The rooms will be built according to the same concept seen in the hotels of the b_smart motel brand in Sevelen, Landquart and Basel. Self-check-in and self-check-out services will be on offer for all 38 rooms 24 hours a day.
“Depending on how the construction phase progresses, both hotels are likely to be opened in the first half of 2023”, the press release explains.
