Startup Netzwerk Bodensee will hold several events this year, including in Liechtenstein for the first time, to help startups in the Lake Constance region network with each other.

Startup Netzwerk Bodensee, a startup network for the Lake Constance region, is continuing its Startup-Lounge event series this year. According to an article on startupticker.ch, the network has held 18 such events, attended by some 2,000 participants, in Switzerland, Germany and Austria since it was established in 2017.

“Over one third of our visitors not only had to travel more than one hour to attend, but they also had to cross at least one national border,” said CMO Miriam Schuster. Liechtenstein will now be added to the list of venues for the 10 events planned for 2019.

On 21 February, for example, the network will hold a Startup-Lounge event on the topic of blockchain at the Technopark Liechtenstein in Vaduz, where Friedrich Kisters will give a presentation on how to protect against digital counterfeiting and manipulation. A representative from the Liechtenstein government has been invited for the discussion afterwards.

Startup Netzwerk Bodensee’s goal is to bring together the numerous startups in the Lake Constance region. According to its website, startup founders in the region have been poorly networked until now due to the large catchment area. Startup Netzwerk Bodensee seeks to change with its events.
