Bank Frick is continuing its collaboration with the University of Liechtenstein from 2024 to 2028. Building on successes to date, new opportunities are set to open up in education and training as well as research, explains Bank Frick in a statement. As part of the cooperation, Bank Frick's Innovative Finance Lab is being established at the University of Liechtenstein. It will serve as a hub for innovative financial research and teaching.
The Blockchain and FinTech continuing education programme, established in 2019 as part of the long-standing cooperation, will continue. There will also be a new continuing education programme in Innovative and Crypto Finance. “With the new course, we want to further strengthen Liechtenstein's position as a leading centre in the fintech sector and offer our employees the best opportunities for a successful career," Bank Frick CEO Edi Wögerer is quoted as saying. To promote committed talent, Bank Frick also awards an annual scholarship to participate in one of the two study programmes.
There are also plans to create so-called Masterlabs, where students work with a teacher on practical projects defined by Bank Frick. In research, the partners plan to work together on joint knowledge projects in crypto finance, writes the statement. “The aim is to conduct pioneering research by bringing together the practical expertise of Bank Frick and the knowledge of the University of Liechtenstein,” explains Martin Angerer, Head of the new Bank Frick Innovative Finance Lab. ce/hs
