The University of Liechtenstein has entered into a cooperation with Best Recruiters. In so doing, the university is keen to make a significant contribution to the scientific character and relevance of the survey criteria for what is the largest recruitment study in the German-speaking world. Each year, the study puts the 1,000 largest employers in this region to the test.

The University of Liechtenstein is keen to play its part in improving recruitment processes at companies and organizations. To this end, it has entered into a cooperation with Best Recruiters. In the future, the university wants to make a “significant” contribution to the “scientific character and relevance” of the 225 survey criteria on which the study is based, further details of which can be found in a press release.

The largest recruitment study in the German-speaking world tests the recruitment processes of the largest employers from Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. All key stages of the recruitment process are examined: From the structure and content of the careers page on the Internet to the design of the online job advertisements, all the way through to the feedback on incoming application letters and inquiries from potential applicants. Best Recruiters is published annually by the Vienna-based career Institute & Verlag. The official presentation of the 2021/2022 edition is set to take place on August 31 in Vaduz.

Initial preliminary results show, for example, that 59 percent of the managers and CEOs surveyed attest to the increasing relevance of concepts such as remote and hybrid leadership. In contrast, however, only 1 percent of the 447 employers surveyed so far mention their own access to remote or hybrid leadership on their online careers page.

With the expertise of Marco Furtner, Head of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Liechtenstein, conditions specific to Liechtenstein could be “optimally included in the study design”, the university explains in the press release. “Over the long term, the cooperation will strengthen Liechtenstein as a business location in terms of the quality of its recruitment”, the press release concludes.
