University of Liechtenstein offers best prospects for entrepreneurs
The University of Liechtenstein offers the best conditions for future entrepreneurs in the German-speaking world. This as determined by the most recent GUESSS survey, which investigates the entrepreneurial focus of universities.
In the most recent edition of the GUESSS survey (Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students Survey), the University of Liechtenstein was, for the sixth time in a row, one of the top ranked institutions: Across the entire German-speaking area, it has the best reputation when it comes to the conditions offered for future entrepreneurs.
“The University of Liechtenstein has fostered a positive climate for entrepreneurial plans”, the GUESSS report for Liechtenstein explains. The students interviewed praised the way in which business ideas are supported and entrepreneurial actions are encouraged. According to the report, 23.4 percent of the student respondents opted to study at the University of Liechtenstein on account of its impressive entrepreneurial reputation and particularly value the course offering centered on entrepreneurship. In previous years, the university has also placed a stronger focus on entrepreneurial applications of IT and communications.
According to the information available, 11.4 percent of students at the University of Liechtenstein are aiming to go it alone and set up their own company immediately after completing their degree course. This value rises to 48.8 percent after five years, while a total of 26 students at the University of Liechtenstein have already set up their own business and a further 71 students are now in the process of founding their start-up.
A total of 208,636 students across all university departments in 56 countries were interviewed as part of the most recent GUESSS survey.
