University of Liechtenstein hosts discussion on Virtual Reality
In the middle of the week, the University of Liechtenstein hosted an Erasmus+ project meeting, during which the possibilities of supporting teachers in the use of Virtual Reality for educational purposes were discussed.
At the Erasmus+ project meeting on the issue of using Virtual Reality (VR), representatives from the University of Duisburg-Essen and University of Agder in Norway took part alongside the University of Liechtenstein, which hosted the event, according to the accompanying press release. The meeting was set-up as a design thinking workshop, the press release explains further.
As part of this workshop, suitable practices and application areas for the use of VR for educational purposes were devised. The participants had the chance to test out VR technology first hand. A tour of the University of Liechtenstein and the Institute of Information Systems in particular were also on the agenda for the event.
