The Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein has been placed fourth in the research rankings for Europe compiled by the Association for Information Systems. In the German-speaking area it even comes in first place.

The U.S. Association for Information Systems (AIS) regularly analyzes publications from scientific journals in the field of information systems. From this, it compiles rankings and discloses the top 200 universities according to different regions. In its latest rankings, the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein has been placed at number four in Europe and 26th worldwide. In the German-speaking area it is in fact number one.

“Naturally, we are delighted that our work is being internationally appreciated and that we, as a small, still relatively new university, have received recognition of our research in this way and therefore become an ambassador for our country,” commented Jan vom Brocke, Head of the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein. The Institute of Information Systems has been honored with numerous international awards in recent years, including for Jan vom Brocke personally, who was selected as one of the top 20 most research-intensive economists in the German-speaking world by Wirtschaftswoche news magazine.
