University of Liechtenstein completes management body
The Executive Board of the Rectorate at the University of Liechtenstein is complete again. The two Vice-Rectorates were reassigned.
The University Council of the University of Liechtenstein has named Prof. Dr. Anne Brandl as Vice-Rector for Research, while Prof. Dr. Alexander Zimmermann will now take on the role of Vice-Rector for Teaching. All seats within the operational management body have therefore now been filled once again.
Anne Brandl has been a professor at the Institute of Architecture and Planning since 2017. According to a press release, her own research deals with the challenges and opportunities connected with spatial development projects in Liechtenstein and the Rhine Valley, including a focus on the valorization of urban landscapes and development of participatory strategies in spatial planning.
Alexander Zimmermann has held the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management since 2018 and is the Director of the MBA program in Technology and Innovation at the Institute of Entrepreneurship. He conducts research in and teaches on issues such as the design of strategies and organizations, in addition to dealing with areas of conflict, for example between the economy, society and ecology.
Klaus Tschütscher, President of the University Council, comments in the press release: “The University Council is pleased that with the appointment of the new Vice-Rectors for Teaching and Research, the operational management body of the University of Liechtenstein is once again effectively staffed and unites diverse talents from management to creativity to meet the challenges".
