For the second time, Vaduz has been named as an official location for Swiss Digital Day. This year’s event on 3 September is dedicated to the theme of Smart Country Liechtenstein. The program will focus on issues such as the economy, education, transport, tourism and culture.

Last year, more than 1,000 visitors experienced Digital Day in Liechtenstein for themselves in person, with at least as many again following the event via digital channels. This year, Vaduz has again been named an official location for the campaign day organized by the Swiss location initiative digitalswitzerland. This year’s event on September 3 in Vaduz is dedicated to the theme of  Smart Country Liechtenstein, as outlined by digital.liechtenstein.li in an accompanying press release.

The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, the country’s national art gallery, will be offering a comprehensive program covering the key issues such as the economy, education, transport, tourism and culture from 9 am on the day of the event. Visitors to the World Café at formatio Privatschule will, for example, be able to discuss their hopes and fears in relation to the use of digital media in lessons at school. The Smart Transport item will deal with changes brought about by automated driving, among other issues, while the development of the digital application LIstory will be presented under the Smart Tourism section.

In organizing the Digital Day, digital-liechtenstein.li was supported by approximately 45 companies and organizations, the Princely House of Liechtenstein, the government of Liechtenstein and the Municipality of Vaduz. The exact program can be viewed on the Digital Day portal, where a livestream to follow all events will also be offered.
