How Liechtenstein companies benefit from export support
In cooperation with the Liechtenstein Office of Economics, Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) has been supporting Liechtenstein SMEs in their export efforts for years. In December 2019, the Liechtenstein government approved the mandate until 2021.
As the first point of contact for internationalization, S-GE supports, on behalf of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Swiss and Liechtenstein SMEs who want to export goods or services. S-GE actively helps in the global identification and development of new business potential, continuously updates on relevant developments in the global markets, offers professional export advice and suggests contacts and partners. Why the services are worth it: from overview to detail
Information on target markets, access to databases and individual export advice: S-GE offers a wide range of services for an international market entry. Within Liechtenstein, the offer is even more specific: personal country advice sessions with export consultants in Schaan as well as information via email, advertisements or LinkedIn. Knowledge transfer on site with exchange of practical experience
Twice a year, specific internationalization events take place in Liechtenstein: The “Haus der Wirtschaft” in Schaan welcomes experts from Switzerland Global Enterprise for these “roundtables”, who work together to design the program in close coordination with the Office for Economic Affairs. The export experts give presentations and a subject-specific know-how transfer from partners from Liechtenstein and Switzerland is arranged. Additionally, a local company shares its experiences and challenges of internationalization. Last December, the roundtable Schaan provided important information for a successful start in international e-business. Last week, the Meetup «Fintech South-East Asia» in Vaduz provided valuable insights into one of the world's leading fintech hubs, Singapore.
