Economics Minister visits Ivoclar Vivadent
On 12 September, Deputy Prime Minister and Economics Minister Daniel Risch visited Ivoclar Vivadent in Schaan. He was impressed not only by its product range, but also the history of the Liechtenstein dental company.
During his visit, the Economics Minister Daniel Risch was shown Ivoclar Vivadent’s production facilities, training laboratory and own dental surgery, the Liechtenstein National Administration reported in a press release. The company’s core values were also presented to Risch. Among other topics, aspects of digitalization and modern production methods at Ivoclar Vivadent were discussed between the company’s management team and the minister.
“From production of filling materials and the various steps in the making of fillings and crowns to visualization solutions that allow dentists to show patients the possible outcome early on, Ivoclar Vivadent boasts an inspiring range of products for dentists and dental technicians worldwide,” said Daniel Risch in the press release. “However, for me as Economics Minister, the company history which began in Zurich in 1923 and has continued in Liechtenstein since 1933 was also truly impressive.”
Alongside products, the Liechtenstein dental company hosts training events for dentists and dental technicians. In the areas of adhesive dentistry and all-ceramic restorations, successful treatment concepts from analogue to digital are taught. The full program and information for registration can be found on Ivoclar Vivadent’s website.
