The Swiss Climate Foundation will once again allocate several million Swiss francs to climate protection projects in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Companies have until March 1 to apply for funding.

The Swiss Climate Foundation supports SMEs in Switzerland and Liechtenstein that want to develop innovative solutions for climate action or save energy in their own operations.

According to a press release, it is once again open for funding applications and is prepared to award “several million Swiss francs” in this round. Interested SMEs have until March 1 to apply online.

Switzerland and Liechtenstein are home to many innovative companies, says Vincent Eckert, managing director of the Swiss Climate Foundation. “However, startups that want to contribute to a sustainable future with their innovative business ideas often lack the necessary financial resources,” he says. This is where his foundation steps in.

The Swiss Climate Foundation regards itself as a project “by business for business”. For example, funding comes from partner companies that voluntarily donate their refunds from the carbon tax.
