Liechtenstein wants to support innovative SMEs more
The Government of Liechtenstein wants to continue to support SMEs with innovation and export checks. It is increasing its contribution to innovation checks to 15,000 Swiss francs. The maximum amount for export checks is still 10,000 Swiss francs.
Liechtenstein is pursuing its support program for SMEs that would like to develop new markets or new technologies. This supports companies with innovation and export checks. The government is now also increasing the amount of the innovation check from its previous level of 10,000 Swiss francs to a maximum of 15,000 Swiss francs. The maximum for export checks is still 10,000 Swiss francs.
The government explains in a press release that both innovation and export checks have worked well in recent years. Daniel Risch, Deputy Prime Minister, states: “Both checks are low-threshold offers for SMEs to work together with research institutes to investigate the concrete feasibility of a project, enable test series to be performed, develop prototypes or receive advice in the area of export promotion.” It is said that the checks are a way to strengthen competitiveness in the area and would bring results that could be seen immediately.
