An Erasmus+ research project at the University of Liechtenstein, Vienna University of Economics and the Berlin School of Economics and Law has studied gender equality in digital structural change. The results will be published on August 20.


Despite “omnipresent debates on digitalization”, “gender-related” perspective has so far been neglected, writes the University of Liechtenstein in a statement. Researchers at the university worked with colleagues from Vienna University of Economics and the Berlin School of Economics and Law to study gender sensitivity in digital structural change. The research was conducted under the Erasmus+ project EQUAL Digitalent and entitled Gender Equality in Digital Entrepreneurship.

The aim of the project was to “promote digital talent from a gender-sensitive perspective to help boost the integration of women into digital innovation processes,” writes the statement. The research findings will be published on August 20 in a presentation at the University of Liechtenstein. Host Barbara Eisenbart from the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein will be joined by research colleagues from the two partner universities as speakers.
